The little boy gets a bath.

Joshua had his very first tub bath last night using Aunt Wendy's wonderful bath tub find. We love the bath pad...it's perfect for Joshua since he is still on the smaller side. (I would have used it sooner and so wish I would have but, I just barely got around to scrubbing out the tub a few days ago--it was in no shape for bathing my cute baby boy in that's for sure.)  He seemed to like it as well. He layed very still for most of the bath taking in the sounds and sensation of laying in so much warm water. It was a really fun experience for everyone. Spencer was shrieking with excitement talking in a higher pitched voice than me. I tend to do that when I talk to my kids. I don't realize how I sound till I hear myself on video. Wow is all I have to say.
Tyler took video of the whole adorable experience. At the end I asked him to take over so I could snap some pictures. My house may be a disaster bit I am sure grateful for these moments and that they are captured in pictures. I love, love, love having a baby.
The towel you see Joshua wrapped up in came from Tyler's home teaching companions wife. She made him this wonderful hooded bath towel. Not only is it cute with frogs on it but its thick and big-- perfect for a shaking, fist clenching, frozen, newborn baby fresh out of the bath. I'm tempted to get a small space heater to warm up the bathroom when I bathe him. He got so cold even though the water was warm. I forget how quickly they lose body heat.
I hope he knows how much we all adore him.

What a cute babe! Can't wait to see him. Loved talking to you last night and it is great that you are recording good conversations with your boys. Mothering is so rewarding! Love you!
