Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Today we had fun celebrating St. Patricks Day. Spencer woke us all up to tell us the leprechaun had come and left us some Lucky Charms...at our house. Weird. Surely he knows we eat very healthy over here. Oh well...guess we had to eat them. He does this every year. Next, he somehow turned our milk and toilet water green. Later as we peeled the potatoes for dinner we noticed that he turned some of those green too. Spencer was quick to notice that one and blame it on our Leprechaun.
Last night Spencer and I set out the Leprechaun trap that we made a few years back.  We have lost the ladder and the sign with all of our moves so we figured the pineapple would serve as a ladder and what leprechaun could pass up a rainbow right.  We figured he would walk across the rainbow candy and accidently slip into our leprechaun trap as he looked for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Spencer was so happy to eath the rainbow candy after church while we prepared our special St. Patricks day dinner.
This was my first attempt at corned beef and cabbage. We learned two things. The boiling method is not for us...and cabbage can take on the texture of a potato if cooked too long.
All in all dinner was pretty good and by the end Tyler taught us all how to stretch out on the couch and rest after a big meal.
I tried to photograph the relaxation and fun times had after dinner but Tyler said that I was interrupting the natural family interactions. :)  Haha.

Sounds like you have exciting traditions for St. Patricks Day! The preserve looks like a lot of fun as well. Good looking boys!
