We've been "Egged" and piano practice

We got "egged" this morning!!! What a fun way to to start the day.  Thank you Pesci family for being so fun and so stealth too. Tyler caught a glimpse of them trying to corral the excited kids back into the car so as to not get caught last night. We left it up so the boys could see it and be surprised this morning when they came home from their dad's house. They were so excited to find the eggs and eat way too much candy before school. We are excited to pass it on to three families.
This week has been so fun at school as well. It is Nevada reading week and they are celebrating by dressing up in different ways all week. Yesterday they made these cute headband with a picture or a description of what they want to be when they grow up. Grant wants to be a theoretical physicist and Spencer wants to drive a "fansee" car!  Today is college day. They are both sporting BYU gear from Grandma and Grandpa Holland.
Grant has started piano lessons this month with Mrs. Mackenzi Jennings whom we LOVE. She is very patient and easy to understand. Spencer Josh and I all go to the practices. Spencer sits so quietly and soaks it all up (He can't wait to start next year). Josh and I walk around and take notes. I am impressed with Grants enthusiasm, diligence and focus not only in his lessons but also at home when we practice together. So far we are learning about correct posture, relaxing our hands, rhythm, finger numbers, playing the black keys up and down with one hand and then the other and coming up with rhythms using do and re. Spencer takes a music class on wednesday using the same method that Grant's piano teacher uses the Jane Tan method.
Spencer decided to provide a little entertainment this morning in the middle of practice with his meditation and swishing his breakfast in his stomach so we could all hear it.
These boys...they keep life really fun. I love them.
