Christmas tree oh christmas tree...

Between 12 and 6 yesterday we had the boys and decorated the tree and watched the nativity. Tyler had to locate it deep within our storage closet. A job he loves I mean loathes. But he did it nevertheless making me really happy.
I tend to fit whatever is prettiest into the frame of my camera. I like to try and see the good we are doing and the good that is present visually. I think this is one of the ways I stay sane amidst the chaos. Please don't be fooled. Outside the frame there are boxes to be put away. Dishes on the table of lunch being eaten oh so slowly and a sweet baby wearing a newborn sleeper that he's outgrown because I'm behind on the laundry.
It's all worth it though--the mess, dishes, laundry, and all the other responsibilities that come with having a family and raising children. I love it all. It's changing me and helping me to be better and it most certainly is helping me grow closer and closer to these sweet boys reminding me that there is nothing more important than living in such a way that enables me to be with them forever.
