We had quite a night last night. It all started about 11:30 when we finally got to sleep. Joshua has been having some stomach and gas trouble lately which leads to lots of crying and holding time. We don't mind holding him of course it just gets a little tricky when it goes on all night long.
I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with all the chocolate milk and chocolate cereal and chocolate ice cream I've been eating. :( I cut it all out as of yesterday afternoon and so far today there has been no more spitting up. Let's hope this continues. He continues to hate his bed and prefers to sleep in his car seat. The only problem with that is he's growing so fast he seems a little crammed in there.
I thought he was teething...I know silly me. He has these two ridges poking up out of his gums that look like teeth so I thought maybe that was the problem. The pediatrician laughed me out the door with that suggestion. :) Apparently that is a crazy thing to think at this age. Although I am pretty sure Grant started teething around 2 or three months.
Spencer has an ear infection making this morning extra sad. I had several returns to make this morning two to the UPS store and 3 to an actual store. I made a last minute Dr.'s apt to check out Spencer's red painful ears, I dropped off Joshua's prescription for his Propanalol, and called on Grant's new glasses that the Eye Dr. so expertly guided me into buying without even suggesting he could use his old frames.
I wasn't in my right mind last Tuesday night when the said transaction went down. I had about an hour and a half to get kids from school, go to the eye Dr. for Grant deal with a hungry screaming baby and get home with enough time to scrape the superglue off the tires so we could race in the pinewood derby scheduled to start at 6:30 pm. So in between phone calls from the current and ex husbands, trying to soothe Joshua, scraping Spencer off the ceiling (He was bouncing off the walls) and trying to get out the door I left with new frames ordered. It wasn't till later that night that It occurred to me they didn't offer or even suggest using the old frames. Since his vision has gotten worse Grant needed a new prescription so they marched me over to the new frames to pick them out. I just went along with them. Trusting them to help a sister out and inform me. THEY DID NOT!!! What are they running a business or something? So anyway. It's too late to cancel the order and I am out the cost of the new frames that I don't even need.
What do you do? Blog about it I guess--while eating "fancy dinner" leftovers for lunch.

We used a fisher price rock and play sleeper chair for Isaac. We loved it and it kept him inclined just enough that he'd sleep better. They have them at both Target and WalMart. And Isaac totally had his first teeth at 4 months and I think he was teething beginning at 3.
