Grant hopped in the car after school with a great big smile and a it's nice to see you mom. On the drive home he sang a song he made up about being happy and not really knowing why. It turns out he had salad bar day at school--something they have once a year and everyone looks forward to. His salad was made up of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, chicken, cheese and the best croutons ever. On top of that he made a fruit plate of mangos, peaches and grapes. Being happy made him open up a little I guess normally he just starts reading and rarely reports on the goings on at school. I'm not complaining. I also learned that one of his best friends Alex is moving to Reno this summer. He plays with Alex every day after school on the playground while he waits for me to pick him up so I am sure he will miss him a lot.
Grant started taking Singulair at night to help his eczema...I wonder if he is sleeping better. Whatever the cause I like seeing my boy so happy.
Having 16 days left of school is making him smile pretty big these days too. I sure love this kid. :)

This may be the wrong place to post this but I was googling MCAD because my son, "Spencer" has it and was having some stomach pain and fatigue this morning. It just caught my eye that you also have a son "Spencer" with this annoying disorder! Love to trade "scary" stories! And love to chat with someone who doesnt think I am nuts!
