Preschool take two
About six months ago I started thinking about pre-school for Spencer...I found a teacher in our ward and made arrangements to visit her home and talk about the details. While spencer and I were in her home he cried...he was so nervous and the idea of being in a strange place for a few hours a couple times a week seemed to overwhelm him. We decided not to pursue it. In the mean time Spencer started basketball, played alone at some new friends houses and even volunteered to pray in front of a large group of children and adults. He has grown up alot over the last six months and we are so proud of him. On tuesday of this week we gave preschool another try. Spencer was very excited to go and even more excited when he came home afterwards and was able to report that he could do the work he was given. He loves his new friends, his teacher and the yummy purple cows they had for a snack on that first day. He now looks forward to preschool and feels confident in his ability to make friends and learn new things. Way to go Spencer!!!
