Easter 2014

Last night we dyed our Easter Eggs after going to a Spring festival with an bunny, duck, and chicken petting zoo. Josh was terrified, it was hot and way too crowded.  After that we got our season passes for Wet 'n wild and made it just in time for the boys to get 5 rides in and a trip around the lazy river. The weather was just perfect and the lines were short. We are hoping to go an hour or so before closing every time and avoid the crowds. The boys had such a great time. I think Tyler even enjoyed himself.  Josh was really nervous about the whole thing because it was new.  He seemed to fall asleep on the first trip around the lazy river. He was either closing his eyes from the sun or just shutting down from the stress. It looked like the latter.

Once we got home we had a quick dinner and then dyed our Easter eggs.  Josh thought it was amazing and cheered the whole time. He wanted to eat the eggs. He loves hard boiled eggs. We gave him one of the cracked eggs to eat.

This morning we woke up to some baskets that the Easter bunny hid around the house for our whole family. He also hid some eggs filled with candy.
Josh quickly realized what was in each egg and shoved as much candy in his mouth as fast as he could. He seemed to think he would have it taken from him if he didn't act fast.  He also kept trying to steal Spencer's candy.
The Easter bunny was really practical this year. Spencer got a few things he needed in his basket.  A new swimming suit and markers.  Josh got some Thomas the train socks and a toy to keep him quiet in church.  Grant got an iTunes gift card and some Uno cards.
Kate got a baby book, socks, a hair bow, a bath towel, wash cloths and some pacifiers.
For breakfast we had these cute bunnies toast and orange Julius smoothies.
