At 3 weeks old Kate continues to eat, sleep and make dirty diapers quite a bit. She has a diaper rash still and enjoys her diaper off time. TMI?
Spencer and Josh ask to hold her quite often now and frequently pop over to where she is to comment how pretty they think she looks or how sparkly her eyes are.
Grant is really good at calming her down when she is feeling fussy. So is the binky. She likes it so far. Spencer is good at making sure she has it in. Josh is good at trying to steal it.
We have had a lot of doctors appointments lately and she has not liked that. She does not like to drive around a lot in her car seat. Probably because she gets all hunched over. Spencer sits between her and Josh to keep the babies under control.
Kate goes in next week for her one month check up and immunizations. It will be fun to see how much she has grown. The time has gone by way too fast. Having four kids is much different than one. I have been out a few times allready. I went to a baby shower after having her for one week. I needed to get out of the house. Then we went to a park day and finally last night she had her first babysitter. Sophia from a few streets down. Tyler and I went to see Les Miserables. It was wonderful but I was more than ready to come home to my baby after 3 hours. It was a little too long. I missed her.
I love to hold my little Kate right now. She is so small and sweet and loves to be held. I am so grateful for the quiet moments I have with her each day.

Kate is such a beautiful baby! As a newborn, Maelie had a rash that wouldn't go away. We tried several creams/ointments. The only one that worked to clear up her rash was A+D Treat Diaper Rash Cream. And now we just use A+D Prevent Original Ointment (after baths and bowel movements) to keep the rash from coming back. Good luck!
