Martin Luther King Jr. weekend

We stayed home for the long weekend and got a few work projects done.  It was a pretty relaxing weekend actually as far as work weekends go. We did laundry, organized the garage somewhat. Put stuff away and a few other odd's and end projects. Once we we were all worked out and while Tyler was putting away our Christmas Deer from the front of our house we decided to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.  Josh did pretty well in his stroller watching the activities but it wasn't long before he couldn't take it anymore. As soon as we let him out he wanted to try riding Spencer's "go-cart" plasma car and write on the driveway with chalk like Spencer.
Spencer begrudgingly tried out his knew bike. It's a little big and needed a few adjustments before he felt really comfortable on it.

Grant mostly read and played catch with Josh while he was in his stroller
I alternated between chasing Josh around and sitting in a chair that we have in the garage. I hope we have more of those "spring-like" days in the near future.
Josh did not appreciate his Dad trying to help him at all. He wanted to drive the "go-cart" just like Spencer all alone. He did pretty good until he needed to turn or go uphill. Tyler tried to push him from behind when he wasn't looking but that ended badly. Ultimately we had to just be done with it because Josh nearly injured himself a million times trying to do it alone. He is a persistent little guy. Very cute too.
Hope you all had a wonderful MLK weekend.
