Baptism fireside

Spencer had a baptism fireside last night in our ward. It was so much fun to attend. My only regret is that I did not bring my camera.  Everything was so beautifully done. The dessert table was so  perfect complete with a big beautiful bowl of  strawberry trifle. Both kids assigned to prayers mentioned their thankfulness for the treats.  It was pretty cute. In addition to that each child received a booklet with everything they would need to know about the upcoming baptisms and a big box of skittles with the words to the song, "I like to look for Rainbows." That looked just like this. I thought it would be cool to print this for Spencer's room.
Our ward has a lot of cute soon to be 8 year olds that seem to get along really well. 5 of which are all on the same basketball team. I love that Spencer has such a good group of friends
Spencer was asked to read the 4th article of faith. He did a great job.  I forgot about the assignment until about two hours before the fireside when Matt asked if he had a part in the program. Luckily Spencer had some to time to go over it and get all the words down. He did really well.
Matt, Tyler, Myself, Grant and Josh all went to support Spencer. Josh was noisy half way through so I got up to take him out. I tried to be as quick and quiet as possible so as to not further disrupt the nice program. Wouldn't you know I'd trip on my diaper bag lugging Josh and being 8 months pregnant. It was such a graceful exit.
