How do you all juggle all there is to do in a day?

I don't have time to sew anything, or decorate, or even put make-up on most days. But, I am trying really hard to help my boys keep our house clean, make it to all the doctor's appointments, pick up eye glasses, prescriptions the dog etc. I am trying to do my calling and make dinner every night and keep up on laundry (at least the washing part).  I made time this morning to study my scriptures and the preach my gospel manual.  I can see though that it's very unlikely that I will be making progress any time soon in the area of creativity, or home and self improvement. I tend to error on the side of helping my boys get their things done first. There are smarter moms out there than me --I am sure-- and that is how you fit in time to live more balanced lives than I do. What are your tips?  How do you juggle it all?  How can you sew and look cute and do all the wonderful things you do and still meet the needs of your family? How do you decide what matters most for the day?

I always put my kids and there needs first as well - guess that is just what moms do. I find the only "me" time I get is after my kids go to bed. Luckly there are all in bed by 8 and that leaves me 1 -2 hours to do what I want to do - if I have enough energy to do anything. Alot of time, all I do is read but that is my chosen way of relaxing.
