Roses and yard work

I am not a hugely accomplished yard worker but lately I have had some teeny tiny successes that I feel really good about. Our roses were an overgrown out of control mess a month or so ago so I found out how to properly trim them online and went to work. Tyler was a little nervous because they looked a bit hacked up but I am pleased with how they look today. The shape is much improved and they have grown so nicely. The only problem is we have aphids again. Those dang aphids are rose killers.  Here are a few pictures of my new roses.
