What love looked like to me today.

Today I just wanted to make some cookies and get our Facebook deal headboard put up. While I was gone for a few hours this afternoon Tyler put it up for me with out me saying a word and then later thanked me for the cookies I eventually found time to make. To be appreciated for something as simple and trivial as making cookies and finding a good deal on a headboard for our bedroom when laundry is piling up to the ceiling and our floor is sticky with gross food Josh repeatedly throws to the ground once he is finished eating...well, that feels like Heaven to me. Especially, when I know full well he would have appreciated it if I would have concentrated on doing the laundry and floor first. Instead of mentioning what he would prefer he folded the clothes, put up the bed, watched the kids, made and fed them lunch, watched me make a mess in the kitchen, forgave me for leaving his iphone on the bed again, gave me a blessing, was my superhero and didn't say a thing about the rest. LOVE HIM. 

Tyler and I are very different and I appreciate it when he notices the good things about me even if I we are different and work in different orders. It feels great to be appreciated. Better than anything really...to me anyway. :) I picked a good one.
