We feel so blessed to attend the school we do. We love the principal and we love the teachers. The graduation was fun, because the principle made it that way. He gave a speech at the end and told the kids that if at first they don't succeed do what their mom's told them to do in the first place. :)
After the commencement address :) He played the happy song that you hear on the radio these days all the time while the kids did a clap out. Everyone in the school came out and clapped while the kids did a walk through and clapped and danced their way out of 5th grade. It was so fun to see.
Grant really enjoyed it.
And so did I along with everyone else there.
Grant with his friend Dillon
Brandon, Dillon, Grant and another kid I don't know.
Grant and Shawn
Mrs. Mingo's parting advice.
And we had a nice chat. These moments are great. The food was not great...but, the conversation was. I felt a lot closer to Grant afterwards and that was worth every penny to me.
Josh was so excited about the "rooty Jr.".
Kate wanted to eat but made due with her binky.
After we stopped by the school to gather this handsome little guy from school. It was his last day as a first Grader. He was so happy to report that he got straight A's all year.

The principle blowing his bubble gun. Love Him. Can't wait for next year and all the years after that we have with him.
He even stopped over and said goodbye to the boys by name and gave Grant some parting advice for Middle school.

Great job Grant! The clap out sounds like a really fun way to do it!
