Memorial day weekend in Tuscon with Jacob in his new house.

Last Thursday we left for our Memorial day weekend about 3:30 or 4 and made it to Tuscon about 11:00 pm.
We spent the first day swimming in Jacob's pool. Josh enjoyed his first swimming experience even though the water was pretty chilly at first. He liked the pebble tec surface as did I.

We put a puzzle together afterwards then had some chicken tacos.
Josh loved the texture of Jacob's carpet but didn't appreciate how hard the ground was when he fell backwards.
Spencer was pretty excited to work on this puzzle together. At first we struggled finding all the pieces, Spencer told me if I would just relax we would be able to start finding the pieces.
The next day we went to the awesome pool/water park in Jacob's community center of awesomeness.  After that we went home ate then went down to the lake. Jacob and Tyler took us around the lake on Jacob's canoe. It was a lot of fun. I think we all agree that it was the most relaxing part of our trip.  Very serene and perfect.
Spencer and I found a lot of giant ant's. I told him they were picnic ants since they reminded me of the big ant's that carry away picnic baskets in the cartoons. He enjoyed smashing them.
Grant like usual had a heart to heart chat with me about life. I love those chats and I love my boy. I am so grateful he feels comfortable sharing his feelings with me.

Josh loved all the commotion. He is always up for a good time.
Tyler mentioned that it was a whole lot easier rowing alone.
I think Tyler looks cute in his hat and sunglasses.
Spencer and I waited on the doc for our turn.
Then we wondered over to this cool tree.
And took some pictures of this cool baby.

After the lake we did some sparklers in the back yard.
Then the boys called their dad to say goodnight.

Sounds like a really fun, relaxing trip. Your boys look happy and adorable. I'm impressed with how well-furnished and decorated Jacob's house is.
