Spencer has been our resident artist for the last several years. We have a kitchen table with drawers on both ends filled with his work and with scrap paper. His most recent work includes a portrait of Tyler and I with a message of love for each of us. He is so cute and I will cherish these pictures forever!!!
I was able to go to his kindergarten Easter egg hunt just before spring break started and watch him interact with his friends. It looks like someone else has something in their basket that he likes!!
I had a good time chatting with his friend Nick's dad. Spencer insisted on giving Nick a Book of Mormon a few months back...it didn't go so well. He accepted the book but returned with it to school the next day to give it back. I thought that was that and he would move on. Spencer has continued to talk about Nick and how he needs to actually read the book. He REALLY needs to read it! At stake conference the Stake president encouraged us to give a book of Mormon to a friend before the next stake conference. Spencer decided he would give one to Nick and then spoke with the Stake president about the situation and what he should do. He advised him to maybe find someone new to give a book too and then on second thought he said to pray about it. :) I hope Spencer does pray about it and hears the answer Heavenly Father has for him.
I guess I wandered off topic. This is Spencer's Kindergarten class room I thought I should document it for him to look back on in the future.
Lot's of great memories happening inside of these four walls. Spencer so far has absolutely loved attending school. I am so glad that he is doing so well and enjoying it as much as he does.
He has gotten on Sky High Blue a few times this year by following the classroom rules.
I hope he always looks back fondly on these first days of school and enjoys his happy memories. Especially when life starts to become less carefree.
