Spencer and Grant have been with their Dad in the evenings this week and will be for the weekend as well so they haven't really seen Tyler at all. The other day Spencer said, "So where has Tyler been?" Totally not realizing that he doesn't get home from work till after they are picked up from their dad. So we decided it would be a good idea to go see him at work during the day for lunch.
We went to the duck park near his work. The ducks and pigeons were really gross while we were eating not to mention all of the mess they made on the sidewalks and thruought the grass. Grant and Spencer really enjoyed watching them race each other for the food we tossed in though. Completely unaffected by the gross factor. They were especially thrilled when one of the turtles in the pond nabbed some watermelon before the ducks got to it.
It seems like the simpliest things bring kids happiness and this little park was certainly one of those things. Grant was so excited to point out all of the birds rushing over to one spot...because I was fosusing on trying to get him to look at me and smile I missed the birds and that made him upset. :(
I am sad I missed it. Next time I'll do better. Love those boys.
The park had a water feature and a sand pit inside of a big dinosaur. The last time I was at the park was when I was pregnant with Spencer. I guess its only appropriate that I go back pregnant with baby boy number 3. We are still not sure about names. Any suggestions?
The park was fun and we'd like to do this again for lunch sometime. Only next time we will eat in the car. :)

We've been to that park a few times and I agree that all the ducks and stuff are nasty. Last time we were there Megan asked to go look at the birds and I told her no becasue I did not want to walk through all the poo. Looks like you guys had a good time!
