The first thing Spencer said upon veiwing the city was, "Ohhh yeah, this is the New York city I'm talking about!!!!"
I regret not taking more pictures of our first view of the city...come to think of it I think I did but ended up deleting them to make space for the zoo pics. :(
Our first stop was the Sony wonder technology lab
Inside the lab we all created our own digital profile personalizing all of our game experiences or so they claimed. I didn't play a lot of games so I didn't get to witness this personalization but the boys seemed to appreciate whatever was going on. I can't say if it felt personal to them but they seemed pretty into it. After creating our digital profiles we stopped at a station where Grant somehow figured out how to merge he and Style's profiles into one. Then it was displayed along with music for everyone to see on a big screen. He thought it was pretty funny. I did too. He's a smart cookie.
Spencer and Oliver seemed especially enthralled with this interactive light floor. Oliver spent a good portion of the floor time as an observer with his dad to which he didn't complain...he seemed pretty happy though when his dad decided to let him down and play with the rest of the kids.
Grant and Spencer both performed a virtual surgery using the same technology used by open heart surgeons. It was really hard to keep a steady hand. Grandpa H. would be proud.
