Last night for family home evening we wrote the reasons we love each other on hearts and then put them up all over the walls. Grant had to be coerced into doing it but ended up writing some pretty nice things. Spencer was in Heaven and loved placing the hearts on the walls.
Shortly after the heart activity was finished and we had our healthy version of Jello Jigglers (made with apple juice and knox gelatin) a sword fight broke out between Tyler and Spencer.
Spencer was really into it...Grant continued to read in Genesis with great interest. He says that he wants to read the entire Bible himself this year. I hope he does it.

The sword fight ended with an injury.

It is great to see the fun you are having as a family!
Go Grant with your reading of the Bible. I can't say that I read the entire Old Testament until I was teaching seminary. I really missed out by not reading it sooner. I hope you can stick with it. Love the good things you are doing!!
