Tyler and I were married on December 17th 2011. We are currently living in my apartment trying to create some sort of order in such a small space. Grant and Spencer seem to be adjusting just fine to Tyler's presence. In fact around 5pm Grant starts to ask..."when is Tyler going to be home?". I like the sound of those two words together in the same sentence--Tyler and Home. Last night was the first night where I felt there was some form of down-time. Basketball watching was woven into dinner eating, clearing the table, eating some brownies and finally a visit from a good friend who made a very special delivery to me...she brought me some wonderful smelling Biolage shampoo and conditioner. Earlier in the day another dear friend stopped by to bring me a wedding present a beautiful wall clock (a really big one) that says Families are Forever. I really, really like it and since I am mentioning recent gifts the most meaningful one of all came just a day ago from my dear friend Elaine. A recipe box like the one we had as Young Women...That girl she knows what I like.
I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by friends and family who love me. I can see clearly that I need to do better at finding ways to express my love in return. I feel like I could easily become absorbed in my own little happy world. I am very blessed.
