Learning

"we women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. we have
to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is
comfortable for us. we have to develop the maturity to stop trying
to prove something. we have to learn to be content with what we
are."
I've been busy.  I suppose we are all busy aren't we? I tried to spend more time with my kids today. I hope they remember always that I love them.  It struck me quite forcefully the other night that if God the father has time for me with all of his infinite responsibilities then I too should have time for my kids--I can't give them all of my time, but hopefully with a little heavenly help I can know what time should be theirs and theirs alone.

Such a beautiful post. Thanks so much for this. I'm not even THAT busy, but sometimes I fill my time with things that aren't important, and I need to remember to give more of my "extra" time to my kids.

I read Sister Hinckleys book several years ago and have loved that quote ever since! I have tried to live by it since then but it is definitley easier said than done. I love that picture. I love all your pictures! You really are an amazingly talented photographer!

Did you remove a post? Am I missing something? Like, one that was posted 15 hours ago?

I frequently do that...but I can't remember what one you are referring too.
