Paper airplane making at the library.

This was supposed to be a paper airplane making story time...well we lasted long enough for two airplane demonstrations. It was so annoying. I'm not even sure why. I had a really hard time following this guys directions while folding Spencers plane and trying to help Grant too. Throw in taking pictures and you can just forget about it.
Grant displayed a mixture of excitement and disgust. He wanted to have one of the cool airplanes being demonstrated but he was beside himself trying to figure out all the complicated folds. It was a very good experience for all of us. No one cried though when it was over.
The teacher of the class/storytime said the airplanes could be flown in the library afterwards....o.k., who am I to argue. The boys loved the idea for about two seconds and then it was off to puzzles and books. Grant is having a hard time finding books he enjoys lately. He has read through most of the "safe" classics that I can think of and wants to venture into the gory not so good looking teenage books. If any of you have any good suggestions for books at the teenage level. Please let me know.
Spencer is a puzzle lover...it's too bad I don't have very many. I bought a lot for Grant when he was little but It was like pulling teeth to get him to actually put them together. He's sort of a figure it out once and move on kind of guy. Spencer on the other hand could do a puzzle a few times at least and still get worked up that he was able to get it all together.
