Then in addition to finding out he has suffered through two absessed teeth. We learned that his top teeth sit behind his bottom teeth when he bites down pushing his top teeth further back and they are starting to angle a bit. So surprise Grant may need braces to fix the problem. He is not pleased with this...he thinks he will be teased.
On a more positive note this sweet little firecracker of a boy decided two things after school today. 1. He wanted to do his weekly homework packet all in one day so that he could play right after school Tuesday through Friday. and 2. That he wanted to be the best big brother he could be to Spencer. He kept both of his goals today and we are so proud of him. We finished the last page in his homework packet at about 7 pm and for the entire evening before and after homework he was a complete angel to his little brother.

Grant has been challenged by the stake president to keep a picture of a Temple by his bed and to memorize the Articles of Faith. So each night we work on memorizing another article of Faith . Spencer has even started reciting back bits and pieces of different articles all put together. It is pretty cute. The other night as we sat in the boys' room reading our scriptures I looked up and saw the beautiful picture of the Savior knocking at the door without a door knob. And I knew what I have always known again in that instant. Our dear older Brother does indeed stand at the door knocking, wanting so badly to help guide and assist us and it is only when we let him in that he can. How wonderful.

Last but not least My Grant is darling! I love this kids so darn much it makes my heart hurt. It was a pleasure to sit with him today as he worked on all of his assignments. We talked about verbs and nouns and smiled at each other a lot. I also let Grant sneak a few of the "Lucky" rolls I bought at Great Harvest Bread today for our St. Patrick's day dinner party I have planned for tomorrow night. He double fisted those babies. One in each hand for this kid. He loved them. I couldn't help but take a picture. How cute is is that. So the day was a good/bad, mostly good day (I got that phrase from Kate Gosselin). I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
