Guess who's cleaning on Friday and it's fun?

Me!  I am thinking maybe we will stay away, far, far away from the type of cleaning/facebook games I did last time.  Oh and Laura I promise the gum is ready to go in an envelope in my car...fruity even.

I admit I had a little help last week. But this week I am going solo.  I plan to clean the whole entire house like last week and...are you ready for this? Because there is more(in the plans anyway.) I want to get all of my laundry put away.  [Sometimes] I don't hang it up straight from the dryer.  ***gasp*** (what? I am editing photos y'all--I can say y'all cause I lived in Kentucky for three years.  I paid my dues.)
Anyhoo. We'll see how far I get today.
I am back this week and I am doing this fun thing for you, for me, for everyone out their who has a DIRTY HOUSE on friday that needs to be cleaned and thinks cleaning is awful.  Cause it isn't.  I keep telling myself that it isn't. (I really do enjoy cleaning--it relaxes me and brings a nice spirit into our home)

Prizes!
I will give a prize to whomever posts the most impressive cleaning task/job thing on my cleaning on friday is fun blog. And the prize is....what do you think it is?  Do you think it is a free Full Photo session with me wich includes;

60 minutes ($150 value)

Location of your choice
CD with 10 fully edited images and limited copyright release.
***25 custom Christmas cards***
(1) 16x20 (2) 8x10's or $50 print credit

Is everyone freeking out out there in my little blogging community.  If not that's ok it's not that big of a deal, it's just $150 worth of pure happiness and joy on paper...photo paper, heck, maybe even canvas with your $50 print credit.

OK, for real now...let's get cleaning!

Hey, I don't always clean on Friday- my aim is to get it done little by little throughout the week, (and of course, that always happens! lol!) but things have been a little busy lately and so the housework has been piling up. Today I had a ton to do! Unfortunately it was more mundane than very impressive! Over the course of the day, I tackled my mountain of ironing, which seemed to involve a disproportionate amount of male shirts to the number of males living here- (I'm sure there were no less than twenty!) tidied our bedroom (which involved a lot of clearing things out of wardrobes and drawers, only to realise there was no where else to put the junk, so back in it went!) did stacks of laundry, and of course the regular jobs: made breakfast- cleaned the kitchen, made scones with a 3 year old- cleaned the kitchen, made lunch- cleaned the kitchen, made dinner for the kids- cleaned the kitchen, made dinner for myself and Russell, and , oh yeah, cleaned the kitchen! All while trying to feed a baby, entertain a 3 year old (hence the scones!), read with a 5 year old and listen to the problems of an 8 year old! Now I am about to go and put away the laundry before I go to bed (and the one and only reason I am doing this is so that I can actually go to bed, as the laundry is folded into neat little piles, on my bed! Sigh!! And I will probably do it all again tomorrow! Ah well, I am sure it is worth it! lol!

Its true cleaning can be quite therapeutic...it seems like I start a job that should take 5 mins and get obsessive about it and an hour later I have not only done the jobs on my to do list I have created some crazy new ones...like this last Friday. We babysat our nephew and niece and our 3-year-old nephew had a nasty cough. We had been around him the weekend before and Carder and I both started coming down with something, but now he was putting all of Carders toys on his face in his mouth etc. (My insides were freaking out) Anyway once they left I got out the Clorox disinfectant wipes and did all the toys that the kids had played with...one thing went to another and I am Cloroxing all of Carders board book (every page mind you)...so after a day of scrubbing and having some super lemony fresh hands I can feel at peace that all the toys/books etc. that Carder can't seems to not put in his mouth are RSV free (what has Utah done to me!?!)
