I'm back and I am happy!

O.K. So I took a break from blogging with words. I guess I just didn't have a lot to say. Maybe I wasn't to proud to talk about how messy my house was and just how tired I have been feeling lately. Maybe it had something to do with everyone being sick and the holidays rushing around like a tornado. I am not sure what it was exactly that kept me from sharing many words with you but whatever it was it's over and I am back and ready to talk on.

Today was a good day and maybe that's why I want to share, share, share with all of you why it was so good. It wasn't good because our morning was chaos free...the morning was actually quite crazy. We all sprung out of bed oh about 7:30-7:45 a.m. Grant in the meantime managed to break the dishwasher door while the rest of us were springing out of bed rushing to get everyone ready to where they needed to be all with one car(the neighbors are borrowing our car) So lovely, the dishwasher is broken--but I ran like lighting woman to the store to get milk and plenty of other good wholesome food products to eat...making it home just in time to whisk my little Granty away to school making it just in time for the bell to ... what the bell didn't ring and it was like 8:52 --by some miracle Grant was not late which is good because I just got a personal letter from the principal highlighting Grant's 10 tardies this year. Sorry all of you cringing mothers out there. I did just embarrass myself on a public blog. I guess I am just too honest. So anyway back to the story he WASN'T LATE yay!!! So after he wasn't late I rushed home because Spencer was chowing on a bowl of "cerie" while Matt got ready. I make it home just in time to take Matt to work all while encouraging him to find the slim old navy jeans that we bought on accident last night (I don't make slims--I make husky's) He of course was shocked that I would ask him to find them as we fly out the door and he is already late. I am quite shocked myself now that I am typing this. I guess I figured I would like to get the darn slim pants returned while I was close by. So that is resolved and we still love each other--that's good.

I get home and decide that the messy house look has got to go. I rush through the house and pick up everything on the floor, vacuum, drink some juice, take my medicine and finally get Spencer down for a nap when I decide to indulge. I sat down and posted a lot of pictures on Facebook. I know my blog is jealous right. So after posting a few pics I realize it is time to prepare my healthy snacks for my boys. A thrill shoots up from my stomach and all the way up the back of my neck. If you know me you know I love healthy food and sharing it with those I love. So I get my little self down stairs and proudly peel and quarter the luscious cucumbers, pack the bananas, water, granola bars and organic preservative free fruit snacks all in a brown bag as if the healthy snacks weren't enough. Grant was going to be thrilled that I actually followed through on something he has been wanting to do for a long time--pack a lunch and play at the park after school. Well it was minutes away from happening and I was all about getting my little Spencie into his clothes even though he wanted to get away from me and drink some old juice on the counter. Finally, we were off to school to greet Grant with a surprise. He was Thrilled like I thought he would be and we played, played, played for an hour. It was great fun.

Now my boys are napping and we are all feeling great. Good food, being responsible and sunshine really do it for me. I have all the high I need. Thank you very much for listening to my ramblings. Aghhhh it feels good to be back.

Good to have you back. You're very funny. I tried to sign up for Facebook the other day, just for you. Couldn't do it, though - worlds were colliding. So I'm glad you've given blogging another chance.

Hey do you know you are Bryant's friend on Facebook and not mine! Hahaha, not that I get on there very often, but I will have to send an invite your way. I have enjoyed all the pictures! I love those busy but productive mornings where almost everything goes well. They are far and few between so thanks for letting us enjoy yours as well.

Okay I am the biggest nerd because apparently facebook says we are already friends. And I can't argue with facebook! (It just goes to show how often I am on that site)
