A 5 Smiley Face Day for our son, Matthew (formerly know as Grant). Hooray!!!
Matthew--the son formerly known as Grant--came home from school today with a great big surprise (a little background first: Grant has been adamant about going by his first name, Matthew, since he started kindergarten this year--its taken the rest of us some time to adjust to the Matthew at School, Grant at Home name changing). Back to the point...Matthew or Grant was able to get a smiley face on ALL OF THE SCHOOL RULES today. A fine job! I certainly don't know that I have ever been able to follow all of my rules in one day. What a great accomplishment for Grant...er...Matthew. As you can see from the pictures he is feeling pretty good about him self. Way to go Buddy! We love you so much.

If I remember correctly his name is Matthew Grant and he went by Grant. So how did you go from Grant to Matthew? Well done though, that's a real achievement.
Well done Grant! (Or Matthew!) I think he will always be Grant to us! We miss you! I love that picture of Spencer sleeping- we have similar ones of our children! I don't know how it can be comfotable, but it must be!
I am laughing so hard at that picture of Spencer. That is amazing that he can really sleep like that! It reminds me of when we would check on Luke and find him in funny positions or with his diaper off. What a good laugh. As far as "Matthew" goes, it's a cute name but he'll always be "Grant" to us! Maybe you could just call him Granthew!:)
