And...the stress is gone.
Grant was very nervous to attend and wished he didn't have such a short haircut (that is a post of its own) Hair aside he felt nervous the other kids might not like him, he was sure he needed to have a t-shirt on but dad wanted him to wear a nice button down. I think you get the picture. The anxiety was great the morning of the big orientation. Once we arrived and Grant found that his buddy Parker was going to be in the same class the tension dissipated and he enjoyed an hour of fun exploration and play time. We were able to take a peak at the library, poke around in the classroom and try out the playground. All in all the Kindergarten orientation was a success. I have never felt so excited before. I can tell I am enterring a new phase of motherhood and am looking forward to having someone help me teach my lovely and wonderful SPIRITED child. It is going to be a great year...I can feel it in my bones!!!!
