Matt's good friend Brian, his wife Jaqueline, and their three kids Ashton, Elle and adorably chubby Gavin, came into town a few days ago. Tonight we were finally able to catch up for a fun evening together. Spencer loved crawling up the stairs with the big kids and tried to sneak away from the adult conversation at every opportunity. Ashton had a few dress-up clothes that were a big hit. Grant was a Power Ranger, Ashton was an astronaut and Elle was a princess. Elle was very attentive to Spencer and made sure he was well taken care of.
Grant and Ashton played for hours and hours, constantly coming up with something new to do. There were no tears or disagreements. These two are the best of buds and I can't wait to get back together again.

We are sad to see our friends go. It is so nice to get together and we really need to do it more often.
