Grateful for great neighbors

We couldn't ask for better neighbors. We were surprised to find out a few days after moving in that the neighbors directly in front of us and to the left of us were not only members of our church but distantly related. There is a shared great, great, great, grandfather on Matt's side named Dudley Leavitt. So now Grant calls these kids his cousins and loves them to pieces.

I am grateful for these adoreable neighbor kids who play together so wellMatthew is the oldest he is 14 years old but looks like an 18 year old man. He still acts like a kid and isn't too cool to hook himself up to a wagon and run up and down the street pulling 2 screaming and silly five-year olds.

Next is Trevor, I believe he is 14 too. He just got an awesome electric scooter that Grant says he wants as soon as he is big. Trevor is very well mannered and always takes the time to talk with Grant whenever he is out playing in the yard. Carrie Trevor's sister is 12 and a doting little mother. She takes very good care of her five year old brother and is also very kind to Grant. Anna is 7 and is probably Grants best friend of the group. She frequently comes over to play school at our house. She likes to read to Grant and is also a bit of a Drama queen. The Drama Queen and King have plenty of act-outs as Grant calls them where they pretend they are making a movie. Then there is Grant our wonderful and enthusiastic son, and last but not least is always cheerful and darling Trent. Trent has a rare disorder he is one of only a few kids in the world with this syndrome called Kabookie syndrome. He and Grant have become good friends and both share an affinity for fast wagon rides. They scream and yell together and return home very tired just in time for bed. I love it. Grant adores these kids and told me they have nothing but wonderful times together full of laughing and happiness.
