Spencer made the transition to cows milk this week like a champ. We had a few sleepless nights a few tears and a few tired parents but all in all it was a pretty painless experience. Grant cheered Spencer on every time he took a drink out of his cup or bottle and it actually helped a lot. Thanks for all your help Grant you are a great big brother. We were hoping to go right into a cup but Spencer pretty much despised the sippy cup. So bottle it is. We're fine with that.
Spencer also surprised us by eating his cereal by himself with a spoon. He loves to hold utensils while we feed him but we have never really let him try and feed himself. I guess he was ready because he spooned his cheerios out of his bowl and into his mouth like he's been doing it for years. Then he discovered that he could lap up his milk like a cat which of course we won't encourage but it was cute at the time.
Way to go Spencer! You are really growing up fast.
