In fact I checked on him at about 1:00 a.m. after I saw him tiptoeing out of our room back into uncle John's room with a bucket of toys and found him just like this. He said, "Mom, I just couldn't help it. I am crazy about these toys!"
He was having a great time but crashed a short while later. I couldn't bring myself to make him go to bed. It was a "once-in-a-while experience."
Spencer discovered this wonderful exercise ball. Grandma and Grandpa had fun watching Spencer take a few timid steps while pushing it.
We also celebrated Spencer's first birthday with Grandma and Grannpa.
My favorite part of our trips to Layton is the talking time that we usually have while we drive. Grant and Spencer were so good at entertaining themselves that we really had a nice conversation.
Driving seems to be always delegated to Matt. I get tired so easily and I guess it scares him that I frequently see headlights coming straight at me and freak out. I have never been in a head on collision, my eyes just seem to merge the lanes and it looks like I have oncoming traffic heading right for me. Scary! So the whole family is really fine with Matt driving on our trips to and from Layton especially when it is dark.
I thought I looked kind of good so I took my picture and like usual the picture did not accurately depict how I looked at that moment. I think we need a camera with a more accurate lens. I swear I looked really good when I looked in the mirror. I just wanted a picture to put in the blog that showed me lookin good.:) I guess I just have to try again!!
Wendy's was our dinner stop. We found the Wendy's in Cedar City to be a hot spot for the FHE crowd on a monday night. Grant on the other hand can keep the arms he has. He can sure do some pretty cool moves with his!
